Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
Here is my team. I am in a 10 team 13X13 league. We get to keep 6 keepers. I am currenly in 8th:
2B Uggla, Cano
3B M Cabrera DeRosa
OF Crawford, Beltran, Quenton, J Upton, Maggs
SP Peavy (DL), Volquez, Lincecum, Cain,
RP Max Scherzer, Jenks, Rauch, Wood, Chris Preze, Hong Kuo
What Should I do? What would be a good trade? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

In my opinion trade Votto, Scherzer and J. Upton and look to get one more solid starter (perhaps Dempster or Maine) . Your RP isn't bad, i wouldn't touch that. But try to pick up Jerry Hairston Jr. (CIN) or Jay Bruce (CIN) to plug in holes at 3B, SS or OF if you need quality stats right now. For a quick and solid 1B plug-in pick up Cantu or packagae a trade where you can get Cantu and a solid SP for Upton.
Uggla will come around as should Miggy C. so keep them in your line up. Scott Hariston Jr. is a great pick up off of waivers to plug in at any infield position.
well if ur in 8th by a ton of games and cant get into 1st, theres not to much id do...your keepers would be pretty good...cabrera, reyes, crawford/beltran, peavy, volquez, lincecum (also consider scherzer)...but i mean ur team isnt bad...like otherssaid, maybe try to use uggla/quentin,maybe mags to get a bigger bat in return...try to package them for a good bat and reliever in return
i think you should trade for stronger relief pitching. use cano, m cabrera, upton, and quenton as bait. first ill trade cabrera for a pitcher like fransisco rodrigez. and drop cano and pick up a solid starting pitcher to replase peavy like jonathan sanchez.
