Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
Which do I need - patience or trades?... I ask your advice on my team. Am off to a slow start with what I hoped was a decent team. NL only 10 team Yahoo league. Thanks!

You have a pretty solid team for NL only, just wait around, always inquire about struggling players though and see if they want something that will be worthwile for you.
Johnny Cueto or Volquez can bring good value right now, see if someone is willing to offer you something crazy for them.

Would definitely move Ellsbury if you get a guy unloading a good pitching because he isn't doing well.
Don't know about trading Uggla, I don't know if KJ can hold up all year, he's been very inconsistent throughout his career, hold on to Uggla for now.
Solid Team, I would try to upgrade the OF though.
Grienke- sell high and who should i buy low for with him

Volquez has potential, but he still plays in Cincy (Great American Ballpark) and he's not had a lot of experience in his career 17 starts over 3 years.
I think he's for real if you can get him off waivers though in 12 team leagues and deeper.
Also, pick up McClouth when you can if you are in a deep league, he has value
give Oliver Perez and get Joakim Soria.
my pitching is
SP Aaron Harang
SP Chris Young
RP Heath Bell
RP Hideki Okajima
P Tim Lincecum
P Oliver Pérez
P Shaun Marcum
BN B.J. Ryan
BN Dontrelle Willis
