As for Garko, he has enough power to be your almost-everyday first baseman... BUT he will not be playing full-time in Cleveland. The Indians will likely continue their platoon system they had last season, where Kelly Shoppach catches games for Paul Byrd, Victor Martinez shifts to first and Garko rides the pine. Also, Garko will likely be sitting during most away interleague games because there is no DH and Hafner will be playing first.
