Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
12 team league, we've got a league filled with extremely competitive managers who know their baseball. The team being replaced was a playoff team last year and the manager had to leave due to personal issues.
We're offline drafting (as most keeper leagues do) and awaiting our new manager to begin ASAP.
Interested? Email me at Jesser312@yahoo.com with the subject heading : Keeper League
I can provide:
Group page (I run a website for the league to stat-track)
A highly competitive league
You MUST provide:
A link to your fantasy profile
The email you use most frequently
An answer to the question: "Would you be willing to pay $11 to join a plus league?" We are considering upgrading to a Plus league this year.
I will choose 3 people from the profile and then 2 people from the league will email you with questions about your baseball knowledge/ fantasy knowledge/participation.
I have room for one more. I'm looking for another keeper league in a different group. I'm 50 years old and have been doing this for almost 20 seasons. Main profile: impalasports. Secondary: makeupguy05 and oldguy1976 (this one). I run a group starting it's sixth season and are currently in three dynasty and three keeper leagues. This league (if I join) would be listed here or my main. If your interested, e-mail back at this address. Thanks, Bob
If you could send me the info on the league that would be great. I don't want to get involved in a league where I am not too high on the settings. I've done that before and regretted it the whole season. I have been playing Yahoo Fantasy Baseball for over 10 years. I run a Keeper league with my friends as well.
Also, how would you run the offline draft with people being scattered everywhere or at least the new guy.

Standard Yahoo settings. All changes and out-of-season trades are voted on in our group page. 7 keepers, any combo of pitching and hitting. Only difference from standard settings is the addition of 1 Util spot.
The offline draft is a necessity because we are, in fact, scattered all over the country. I'm from NJ and we've got people from Washington (state) so it's a big gap but worked out great last year in our first offline draft (first year was online). We got the draft done in about 3 or 4 weeks (24 rounds-7 keepers= 17 rounds offline).
If you leave your email or email me, I can send you more info.
