    Kenny Stills?

He went undrafted in my league, and I've heard some analysts predict a breakout year for him, while others are focusing all of their attention on Brandin Cooks.

I don't have room on my roster to add Stills right now, and I'll certainly keep an eye on him. Just wondering what people here think we can expect this season, since I've read conflicting predictions...

    • Like the Saints RBs we discussed yesterday, the receiving corps after Graham is hard to decipher. I'm not high on Stills. He plays the Devery Henderson "clear out" role and that has never been consistently productive. Boom/bust, yes, but not playable week to week. Unless his route tree expands significantly he's not someone that I would pursue.

A wild card here, however, is Colston. How far have his "wheel" injuries eroded his productivity? He could not gain separation from man coverage last season and had his big weeks when he could find soft spots in zone coverage. What coverage does he get this season when DCs are likely scheming to deal with Graham (and, possibly, depending on his role, Cooks)? Further regression by Colston lifts someone's prospects, but does that happen and, even if so, is it Stills who benefits?

I've targeted Cooks in my auction league as he's frequently available on the cheap there, but in redraft he's becoming too expensive. Stills? No.

    • Lots of potential. Even though he didn't have that many targets, he had more YPC than any other WR with 20. As long as he stays competitive with Cooks and Colston he can acquire a big chunk of the targets available now that Sproles and Lance Moore are gone, which is probably like a quarter of the teams total targets. Definitely worth keeping an eye on.
