Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
Not crazy about getting the 10th pick (10 team, standard H2H) but I do like to have the #1 waiver after week 1.
Honest advice please...not just bashing.
WR- A.J. Green
WR- Terrance Williams
WR- Kendall Wright
RB- Marshawn Lynch
RB- Zac Stacy
TE- Julius Thomas
WR- Mike Evans, Anquan Boldin
RB- Spiller, Bernard Pierce
TE- Ladarius Green
I agree that Terrance Williams could be in for a big year. I like him... as a WR3. I think in a 3 WR league that your WR2 needs less "could be" and more "will be".
Is this PPR? Wright will be big if it is. I am leary of Lynch. He has a lot of miles on him. I think that's why he held out. Even he knows his time as beastmode is limited. Overall I do like your team. I give it a B-
This is really tough for me. Seems you are one "stud" away from being a great team, just not sure at what position. Somehow if you could upgrade your WR2 position. Maybe try to package Boldin and Williams for a Welker or Harvin, and then use that empty slot for covering your D and K during the bye weeks.
Assume you went 1 Lynch 2 Green 3 Stacy 4 Julius Thomas? I would've personally went with another receiver at your back-to-back 3rd and 4th rough picks. Instead of Stacey wait for Tate, Vereen, Gore, Jennings Mathews and upgrade at WR. Overall not a bad team though.
While I like most of your team, I'm not that high on your receivers and would look to upgrade there. And I agree with the other post that, while your RBs are solid, they're not deep so that's not a fertile source for WR help. I would look at additional RB depth from the excess TE and QB slots or 1 of the bench WRs and see if you can package a swap of one of your bench RBs and Williams for a stronger WR2 and a weaker bench RB. Both Spiller and Williams are coveted above their likely production and can make an attractive package to the right trade partner.
Solid team overall,I would give it an 8,with potential to be a 9.5.I would try packaging Spiller with one of your other wideouts to get another WR1,but those other receivers have potential.I would probably wait it out see how it plays out since it would leave you with no depth at RB.
