Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
Any of them could come out on top... Gore is getting old, so he'd be on the bottom of the list in my opinion. Im interested to see Sankey and Gerhart this season, they could both do well. Vereen will probably take the RB1 role and is great for PPR. Bell seems like the best on the list though. Tate always has injury concerns but has a good opportunity as well. I might roll the dice with Sankey.
I'm leaning towards Bell or Gore. Bell because Detroit splits carries between Bell and Bush pretty evenly and Bell gets more goal line carries. I like Gore because San Fran remains a run first offense, however he is aging and it appears they are trying to move away from the run. Sankey worries me because the Titans ability to move the ball worries me. If you are in a dynasty league you can take a chance on him otherwise I'd stick with proven backs.
I will assume this is standard scoring
Gore is only 2nd because Lattimore is healthy and Hyde is a younger, more explosive Gore clone who will at the very least be the third down back with Hunter a FA next season
While it's way too early to know for sure, of this group Gore is a pretty easy pick. The cap strapped 9rs spend an unguaranteed $6 million on him to...timeshare or sit? Ummm...I don't think so. He's got a clear talent separation from his backups and, while more passing should be part of the 2014 gameplan, there should be enough easy games for huge RB production. RB1- production for the first 1/2 of the season, as usual.
Gore......for some reason hes just not falling off...for the past 2 season i draft him as like a 3rd back and he ends up being the most consistent RB in my line up....for where he's going 4-5th i think he's a steal.
