12-team, standard scoring (non-PPR). Another owner offered me this trade:
I would get: L. Fitzgerald & G. Bernard
I would give: J. Nelson & T. Richardson
Is this as big a sham as it appears to be?
QB = A. Luck
WR = V. Cruz, J. Nelson, J. Gordon, K. Thompkins, Michael Floyd
RBs = T. Richardson, D. Wilson, J. Bell, A. Bradshaw, R. Mathews
TEs = R. Gronkowski, C. Fleener (who I'm looking to drop this waiver period for S. Hill or B. Brown)
I just don't see much difference between Nelson and Fitz. Both are #1 WRs. Both play on teams that have porous offensive lines, as seen this week (though I think Arizona's is worse). However, Nelson clearly has the better QB throwing the ball. The guy proposing the trade seems to think it's a major upgrade.
In regards to the RBs, I like Gio, but at this point, Richardson, on potential alone, deserves more in return than a guy splitting carries 50-50 with BJGE. I know Richardson has been disappointing so far and didn't wow in his Indy debut, but I'm still holding out hope now that he's in a better offensive situation.
