Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
Can only keep 1 player:
Brady, Fitzgerald, D-Thomas, S-Jackson.
I'm thinking D-Thomas. Brady won't have a whole lot to throw to and that scares me, Fitzgerald should have a much better season with the addition of Palmer, but not sold he will be great, and S-Jackson I'm not so sure about. I know Thomas has Welker & Decker to fight with for receptions, but I feel out of the 4 guys, he has the best chance to succeed. Thoughts???
The system in NE always makes little known receivers into productive players.
My only negative thought on D Thomas is if this is a keeper league, you need to worry about the future. How much longer will Manning be in Denver due to injury, or just plain desire? You have to consider that.
Short term, I like Brady over the rest. Long term, I can't pick out of the 4, but if I was forced it'd be Thomas, due to age.
SJax... no competition in backfield and RBs are a rarity... You can get a point scoring QB in the 8th round this year if you want to wait... Romo and Luck will be there. If you have an early pick then SJax and the best RB available will be a great tandem.
Answer my post if you can. thanks

SJAX will have competition from J Rodgers. SJAX is NOT a 3rd down back for the falcons. At least he's never shown it.
Don't think this isn't a platoon job at some point. Reggie Bush will likely see more touches.
Doesn't have anyone to throw to? You've heard of Danny Amendola right? Granted, he probably won't last all season, but that guy's a PPR machine. With Brady throwing to him...it boggles the mind frankly. And they brought in some younger talent this year. The Pats always do two things:
1) Put the ball in Brady's hands
2) Put up numbers
This may be the last year for that to happen, and a lot of it hinges on Amendola staying healthy, but I think Brady has one more year as a fantasy stud.
Thomas is the number two WR, Welker is the 3, and Decker the 1. Thomas is a the deep threat. He's a home run hitter....goes for long stretches without 100 yard games.
The other two....Fitz...who knows, can Palmer perform? Too many questions in AZ. And S-Jax? Over Brady? ahhhhhhh...NO.
