Was offered Green-Ellis/Alfred Morris/Heyward-Bey for
(He's also got Donald Brown, Blackmon, and Mendenhall
Pull the trigger on this?
Thoughts and Opinions please.
Are you kidding me??? Yes you pull that trigger. You have crap at RB after FJax, and even when he DOES come back after 4 weeks, he's going to be time-sharing WAY more than before, especially if Spiller continues to produce like he has the last 4 games (inc end of last year). In this trade, you have a bonafide 3-down 20+ carry back in Green-Ellis, and a potential starter in Morris as long as he does well. But at this point, you HAVE to take a chance with this trade cause you have NO ONE at running back for the next 4 weeks while Jax is out. Mind as well forfeit the next 4 weeks.
Also, you'll never be playing boldin with that WR squad of yours, so might as well get rid of him, plus he's not even that good anymore. And never worry about defense, that's just plug and play based on matchup, unless you have 49ners D, but that's it. I'm from Houston so I watch the games, and we're more of a 3-and-out D, not especially great at creating turnovers or def touchdowns.
no fred jackson came out and guaranteed he would be back in 4 weeks or less which is a good thing and cj spiller had ONE good game he has been in the league for 2 years and had plenty of opportunity to prove himself and never has. boldin is still the #1 wr in baltimore torrey smith has his games but boldin is guaranteed 60 yards and 8 touchdowns or more and Houston D which I have on my team as well is the best defense in the league they have great match ups and a rookie returner who in the preseason housed 1 kr and 2 pr for touchdowns I know personally they are playing every week for me
