Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
0.5 PPR LEAGUE, 10 team, start 3WR / 2RB / 1FLEX
My current WRs: Megatron, A.Brown, Meachem, Blackmon, J.Baldwin
Should I try to trade for a #2 or #3 WR? And who can I get or who should I target?
My RBs: McCoy, Martin, Turner, Ridley, Hillis, Jennings
try trading meachem and hillis for someone like torrey smith or eric decker. either of them two should be easy enough to get because they are sleepers still, but both are almost a lock to put up great wr2/wr3 numbers this year
Obviously, you have the best WR in the game as your #1, which helps with your semi-lack of depth. Antonio Brown, to be honest has great WR2 potential - he's had an entire offseason to get in sync with Big Ben, and I think Wallace will lose out on a lot of targets to Antonio because of that. As far as your #3, Blackmon and Baldwin have breakout potential. Gabbert has been throwing with his eyes open this preseason, so we could eventually see something out of Blackmon. Baldwin is in somewhat of the same boat as A. Brown because of Dwayne Bowe's holdout. In all honesty, I don't think you NEED to trade for another WR, simply because WR is so deep and there's so much waiver wire potential out there ready for this season. but if you needed to, I'd definitely try to deal Turner for a WR2 with a high ceiling, like a Kenny Britt or a Miles Austin. Granted, they both come with their risks, but they've got big fantasy potential. I mean serious fantasy potential (If they can stay healthy) - and YOU have the RB depth to do it. Think about it.
