Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
My Starting Team:
Bench : Jordy Nelson, Ben tate, Cedric Benson, Andrew Luck, Justin Blackmon, Jared Cook, Pierre T.
I would give up: Jordy Nelson, Cendric Benson, W. Macghee
I would receive: Adrian Peterson, Miles Austin, C.J Spiller
I know I would usually take that trade, but I wouldnt have any RBS really expect Arian Foster until AP would return. I feel my team is strong but is it worth the risk?? Am I gettin rid of too much depth on an already pretty solid team?
All help greatly appreciated, thanks in advance

I would def do it. I realize there's a risk of Peterson coming back from post-acl injury, but he also isn't like the average player. His potential will offer so much more value than McGahee. I'd rather take a post injured Peterson than an aging Mcgahee whose clearly lost a step. Mcgahee will be consistent with a low ceiling, but Peterson will give you big play potential, and that's how fantasy winners win, taking chances. You're already not going to not play Nelson, and Miles is a great backup to have. For time being if you make the trade, pick up Peterson's handcuff until you find another RB through waivers during the season.
I say take it, i dont see nelson having those numbers either, keep in mind jennings missed some time, however, peterson and austin likely wont start but ur team looks already good enough so later on in the season this could make your team very dangerous. Could u answer mine?
Listen to my advice only please. If someone is willing to trade Adrian Peterson that means they are pretty stupid your best play is to wait. The worst thing you can do is trade before the season starts because your admitting that you have a lack of drafting skills and you don't have confidence in your team and either way that is no way to start a season. Your best play here is to wait until at least week 1 or 2 so you can gauge Peterson's comeback as of now you would be trading 3 #1 starters and Austin is injured has not played all pre season and CJ Spiller is a backup to Fred Jackson who knows how much he will get the ball. If you wait until week 1 you will have a better idea and who knows maybe after a few days the guy will get real pathetic and desperate and offer you more. PLEASE JUST WAIT ITS WAYYYY TO EARLY SOME PEOPLE HAVE NOT EVEN DONE THEIR DRAFT YET AND YOUR TRYING TO MAKE BLOCKBUSTER TRADES.

Yeah Im not too worried about the Nelson part. I dont think I would ever play him over Julio or B. Marsh since we dont have a flex spot. I was just worried about trading all my depth at RB for AP.....but if he is even 75% healthy by mid season, I should have no porblem running for the title! This is also a keeper league, so Im investing for my team next year as well
