Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
I am being offered Calvin Johnson for Ray Rice OR Matt Forte. Who would you trade?
--My league only starts 1 RB and a W/R/T Flex. We start 2 WRs.
--My other RBs are M. Bush, Tolbert, and Satrks.
--My starting WRs are V. Jackson and Percy Harvin. Early Doucet and Harry Douglas are my back-up options.
--Rice plays: San Fran, Cleveland, Indy, San Diego, and finishes with Cleveland in week 16 (Championship Week)
--Forte plays: Oakland, K.C., Denver, Seattle, and finishes with Green Bay in week 16.
I like Forte much better overall. If you are able to make into the championship round, Rice's matchup is much more favorable, but by that point GB could possibly be resting players. Rice is about as overrated as they come though. Giving up Megatron is tough though. I dont think you give up Megatron unless you are bringing in AP or Foster.
Tough call, Forte gets lots of yards, but lacks the TD's.
The couple of bad games Rice had were not his fault, they didnt give him the ball. Im pretty certain that Balt knows when Rice doesnt get 20+ carries, they dont win.
I think I'd lean towards Rice, since he is on a more dynamic offense..
I have ray rice but fortes beasting it this year like i called.. I would pick forte cus Da bears have an easy schedule down the line and like i imagine, they should win all of these games and just run it second half.. However, marion barber is now our featured goal line back and anything can happen so he'll prolly lose a few tds down the stretch and it could be crucial.. Im just gonna take a stab at it.... Next 4 games:
Rice=300 yrds, 4tds
Forte=400 yrds, 3tds (ALL PURPOSE YARDS)
