Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
I just wanted some opinions regarding this trade.
I got offered frank gore, a.j. green & miles austin for calvin johnson and demarco murray.
What do you guys think? Would you accept it and trade away the best WR in the league?
Thanks in advance.

The question can be broken down like this it seems:
Calvin, Hakeem, Andre vs. Hakeem, AJ Green, Andre/Miles
For WRs, I'd say you'd be losing out on ~7-8 points / week giving up Calvin and subbing in AJ Green or Miles A.
and Starting RB:
Bradshaw (?injury), DeMarco (good for this week, unclear down the road) / bunch of 2nd strings vs. Bradshaw, Gore / bunch of 2nd strings.
For RB, the question becomes if Gore can score more than 7-8 points / week than Murray / other 2nd string RBs. Hard to say esp when Felix Jones comes back.
If your on the verge of not making the playoffs then maybe...otherwise Hell f'ing no!! Nobody should be touching that trade button next to Megatron this year he's gonna break records and scores 20+ points every week he's a beast
If you are way behind in the league, despite having Calvin, I would make the deal. A roster shake-up may do your team some good.
If you are doing well in the league, Calvin is a big reason. I'd keep him.
Depends on whether the players offered help you or not. Sure seems like you would get back plenty at WR to make up for losing Johnson and Gore seems like he is a good Fantasy player thi year. Depends on who your other RBs are.
At first glance....I do it!
I wouldn't do it. Austin has underperformed. Green is nice, but I think Johnson is too good to let go of.
I disagree with the other guy, I think Murray is going to get more looks. Jones is still out, they cut Choice. Jones has been largely ineffective when he's been in there. A good game or two and they won't be able to get Murray off the field.

I also disagree with JG' s reply regarding Murray as he will still get a good amount of touches. He won't rush for 250+ yards in a game and then go right back on the bench and be limited to 4-8 touches a game. No, Murray will continue to get a good workload and still has a decent amount of value when Jones comes back.
I also disagree about Austin being a #1 WR. He's not. Dez is the new #1 receiver on that team. Austin is more like a 1b or #2 these days.
I think the trade is pretty even and would say that if you did the trade it works for you but if you don't, you won't lose out.
