Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
Would you do it?
I'd be on the receiving end of MJD, and I have Jennings, Carolina Steve Smith, and Dez Bryant as my other WR's (Mike Thomas on the bench). My RB's are lacking badly (LeSean McCoy.... and then a whole lot of McGahee, Daniel Thomas, and the likes).
Good deal? Roddy and MJD are incredibly equal according to Yahoo! scoring (same amount of points so far, same amount of points remaining, etc.).
10 team, PPR league, deep benches. Thanks!
The Jaquars offense is a mess and they are monitoring MJDs touches. I believe Roddy would have the bigger upside simply based on overall team talent and the fact the Falcons are trying to make the playoffs. They need him to be huge if they are to get there again. The Jags aren't trying to make the playoffs. They are more likely to move than to make the playoffs. And they are in the suck for luck sweepstakes.
Definitely go with this trade. There were rumors that Matt Ryan would be weak this year and would in-effect weaken Roddy's overall performance. It seems like the rumors are true, ATL's offense is not what they were last year.
MJD is solid and consistent performer and you'll need him next week when Shady and the Eagles are on BYE.
