Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
12 team 2nd year keeper. I kept Forte(7th) Blount(last round). Thoughts??
Not a bad team. The starting lineup is solid--not amazing in the sense that any of them will put up out of this world numbers, but they will hopefully be consistent.
You need a backup QB in case Romo gets hurt. Freeman maybe? I don't know who would be available, but Romo likes to scramble so just in case.
I would drop Steve Smith--Cam Newton has not looked good throwing the ball this year.
Also maybe drop AJ Green too. I think a rookie qb and a rookie wr--there is going to be too many ups and downs for you to even consider playing him.
I like Amendola this year. That team is going to open up and take more chances this year I'm reading.
I keep preaching for people to grab an extra TE. In my league, our flex you can play a TE,Rb,WR. Owen Daniels, Greg Olsen, or Jimmy Graham could end up in the top 5 TE's. If they don't pan out after a couple weeks, feel free to drop them for whoever emerges in the waiver wire. Or if they look decent, use V.Davis as trade bait to maybe upgrade elsewhere.
I know I'm looking ahead too far, but you could package Davis and maybe Wayne for a better/younger receiver. Wayne is slowing down.
