Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
is trading LT+Ochocinco for Ben Jarvis Green Ellis worth it? My current RB's are Stephen Jackson, Wells and Lt. My WR are Ocho, Boldin and Mike Williams (TB), yes i know i botched my draft badly. Will Green Ellis add any greater depth or should i just stick with the guys i have. Our league is 2 RB's, 2 WR's and W/R/T.

That would be a bad trade on your end. Real bad. The Pats backfield is way too crowded and LT only has Greene ahead of him. And I think OchoCinco will have somewhat of a resurgent year. Not a Moss-esque year, but definitely a vintage-Ocho year.
I'm in a 12 team league and had the 12th pick. I used Matthew Berry's cheat sheet and went for running backs a little too late.
I feel like the starters I got have a lot of upside, but I'm wondering if I should use Tony Romo and a bench player to try and snag a quality running back or reciever for my flex spot. I do like having Romo as quality insurance for Vick though. If I got rid of him, I would get Colt McCoy because there arn't many QBs on the wire. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
QB: Michael Vick
RB: Felix Jones
RB: Fred Jackson
RB/WR: Mike Tolbert
WR: Roddy White
WR: Miles Austin
TE: Owen Daniels
K: Billy Cundiff
QB: Tony Romo
RB: Pierre Thomas
WR: Steve Smith
RB: Jerome Harrison
WR: Robert Meachem
RB: Roy Helu

You need to trade Vick. A trade proposal with Vick and Fred Jackson will get you a top tier RB. Fred Jackson won't have the same year he did last year because CJ Spiller is back and healthy. See if someone will bite on a Vick/Fred Jackson proposal.
I took Vick in a draft this year and traded him away the next day. Here's the trade:
Vick made the trade possible. He has unbelievable upside but a really low floor, also. I'd rather have a couple guys with not-as-high ceilings and not-as-low floors than a guy with the opposite of both.
You're in a 12 team league. There are a few guys hurting at QB. They probably have backup QBs as their starters and would jump at the chance for Vick. Do it.
My QB's are Matt Ryan and Sam Bradford
Used my top picks on Calvin Johnson and Roddy White
Which is better?
Sims-Walker/Johnny Knox/Julio Jones
I dont like having to make these decisions every week and possibly get burned.

Ryan White Johnson Jones.
I know a lot of people don't say "don't have two guys on the same team," but I won my league last year with Foster, Schaub, and Andre Johnson. The year before, the guy in my league who won had Welker and Moss.
It works. I like pairing my QB with a WR because you get 10 points per touchdown when they hook up. And White or Jones are almost guaranteed either a touchdown or a bunch of yards every game.
When the Falcons are on bye, go with bradford, Johnson, MSW, and either Knox or Crabtree depending on their match-up.
im in a .5 ppr league
Wide Recievers get 15 yards per point; 2 points at 120 yards; 4 points at 160 yards; 8 points at 200 yards
Running backs get 10 yards per point; 2 points at 150 yards; 4 points at 175 yards; 8 points at 200 yards
QB Matt Ryan
WR Vjax, austin, Sid rice, roy williams
RB Ray Rice, forte, green ellis, pierre thomas
TE Gonzo, Grownkowski
who would you start and what weakness should i address?

Your flex is the only real position you have to make up your mind about.
You're gonna start VJax, Austin, Rice, and Forte (even though I don't like Forte this year) every game.
I'd start BJGE at flex.
See if you can trade Forte, Sid Rice, Roy Williams and PT for 3 better players. One second tier RB, a Second tier WR and any other third tier WR. I think Forte is being drafted too high and has value right now, but won't for long. Barber is there to vulture TDs and touches. Forte has a lot of value right now because of his draft position. Trade him now with Rice and Williams and get some people who will actually get some points for you.
Who would you start out of these options?
Need to start 2 Rb's 1 Wr 1 Flex(WR/RB)
.5 Points Per Reception league
Ray Rice vs Pittsburgh
Rashard Mendenhall vs Baltimore
Beanie Wells vs Carolina
Kenny Britt vs Jacksonville
Maurice Jones-Drew vs Tennessee
Stevie Johnson vs Kansas City
