Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
I have to have my ten keepers in soon. Here are my for sure keepers:
1. Tony Romo QB
2. Michael Vick QB
3. Dwayne Bowe WR
4. Jamaal Charles RB
5. Thomas Jones RB
6. Mike Thomas WR
Here are other choices:
Braylon Edwards WR
CJ Spiller RB
Tim Tebow QB
Mike Tolbert RB
Kellen Winslow TE
Wondered what everyone thought of trading Vick to upgrade other positions and going with Romo as QB? This was a 5th place team in 12 team league. Want to move closer this season.
I think Vicks perceived value is so high that it doens tpay to keep him. You can pair him with one of your fringe keepers and get almost anything you want.
You should post this at RotoKnow .com and see what kind of response you get. Usually get great advice there.
You might be okay at RB, but thats what I'd go for if you trade Vick. Doubtfull that someone would give up their #1 RB for Vick though, cause obviously you had to pick him first and any RBs you'd want were already gone.? So I'd take a chance and stay with what you have, hope Vick stays health and keep looking for this years Peyton Hillis.
Are you serious. Mike Vick was a beast. Romo is garbage as a QB but this is also fantasy. Vick will give points even if its done on the ground. He is a better choice than Romo and I won a league with him as a starter.
If you have Romo as your #2 QB I would 100% trade Vick. As a Vick owner, you probably got him for free to begin with, now you can turn him into a top RB or any WR you want, and not really downgrade at QB.
vicks value is a stud rb ap cj2k or arian
if you could get one of them i would take it and hope he gets blitzed into becomingless productive than romo
not in love with any of your other keeper options or the idea of keeping ten as a league rule but tebowhas a long shot at being a stud though fox is not known for his creativity 3 yards and a cloud of dust
Keep them all, drop thomas jones.
trade romo for some wr help or package with one of your other players to beef up your roster, there are a lot of mid round gems that someone will give up for romo+. I just don't trust him coming off of surgery. hope this helps and good luck this year

If you were lucky enough to get Vick, don't even consider trading him. If he can keep up how he finished last year, he'll put on one of the best spectacles at the QB position that the NFL has EVER seen this season.
