Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
I need to keep one of these three....pls tell me who you would keep and why. They are all so close.
1. Mike Wallace
2. Mike Williams (TB)
3. Vincent Jackson
Having a hard time with this pls help
Wallace. And, no, I don't think this is all that close. Vastly superior speed and quickness, outscored the other 2 last year on a total and per game basis even when he had the immortal Charlie Batch throwing to him for the first 1/4r of the season & he's in his 3rd season (2nd as a starter). He was the 6th ranking WR in 2010 and it only gets better as Ward fades and Wallace continues to improve. He's DJax in speed and elusiveness with a higher # of touches.
While Rivers is a very prolific passer, I would go with keeping Mike Wallace over the others. Pittsburgh is no longer a run first team. Big Ben is also a solid QB, also loves to pass, and put up good numbers last year in spite of missing 4 games. The speedy Wallace will be his main target this year, as Hines Ward - though still the fan favorite- dances closer to retirement. The two found their groove and got into the Superbowl. Better believe that they aare on they same page, with the same commitment. Not sure you can say that about VJ, and Josh in TB will get better, but not like the Steeler duo yet.
