Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
My team has not performed as well as I thought it would, and I'm looking to shake things up. A member of my league just offered to give me Matt Forte for Malcom Floyd straight up. Here is my team currently:
WR- Floyd, both Steve Smiths, Bowe, Walter, Amendola
RB- Chris Johnson, Ryan Matthews, Jonathan Stewart
I want to improve my RB depth, especially with Matthews' status questionable. I'm not sure how strong my WR corps will be without Floyd, but I don't know if Floyd's numbers will dip once V-Jax comes back.
The guy offering me this trade also has Ray Rice, Mendenhall and Hillis, so he is set at RB. What should I do here?
I totally forgot to add Brandon Tate to this list. So my current list of WRs is Floyd, both Steve Smiths, Bowe, Walter, Amendola, Tate.
Obviously I've had to take a spaghetti approach to my WR corps. I'm just throwing everything against the wall and seeing what sticks. I'm hoping either Tate or Amendola prove to be a reliable No. 3 WR.

Try to package Amendola, St. Smith (Car), and Mathews for an upper midlevel back like McCoy or Mendenhall. Amendola should have some value after the Clayton injury and I'd bet there's some decent WRs hanging in free agency to make up for the 3 for 1 loss.
I'd also consider swapping maybe Amendola again for somebody like Fr. Jackson or Marshawn and see how their situations play out.

Alright, thanks for the help. I've been trying to deal Chris Johnson for combo of a solid RB and a steady WR (like Frank Gore and Reggie Wayne), but nobody is biting. Most of my league has been really gun-shy on trades.
numberFire (http://numberfire.com) thinks trade him, his value will never be higher.
