    too early to tell?

i hate the beginning of fantasy football season, because there always seems to be that risky "speculation" add you make, that never pans out, while you pass on an absolute fantasy stud that makes another manager's team into an automatic playoff contender.

that being said, are the following players worth being looked at in a 12-team standard league (ONLY 2 acquisitions per week)?

    - D. McFadden
    - B. Jackson
    - M. Clayton
    - B. Lloyd

    MY TEAM:
    RB: S. Jackson, P. Thomas, C. Williams, R. Williams
    WR: C. Ochocinco, H. Ward, D. Driver, L. Evans, K. Walter, D. Henderson

I can see Henderson being immediately expendable, but i like his upside since i have Brees at QB. I'm considering dropping him for Clayton...

    • im putting my waiver priority up for jackson just in case ryan grant is out for a while...mcfadden will go back to a timeshare with bush, clayton might be worth it if you need a wr...they are the rams but a no.1 wr is still a big deal in fantasy...lloyd its too early

    • I would agree with the Clayton add, even bad teams need to throw and it looks like Clayton is Bradford's comfort guy so that works (especially in a PPR format).

McFadden is interesting only because if Bush is out another week he has a very favorable matchup next week and if he strings together 2 good weeks he would force his role to be increased even with Bush back. I don't know who I'd endorse to drop for him though.

    • even if they won't start on my team, i'm still looking for a solid bench at this point in hopes of trading up. i have a habit of drafting unbelievably awful teams and making up for it in trades, so i'm sure i'll have to do that again this year.
