    Johnny Knox. Last 7 games, 17 total catches. Only 6 foot 180 lbs. Let's see the last Bears receiver to gain 1000 yards???? Average Passing yards this preseason 134 per game, yeah 31st overall. 3 Catches this preseason.
    757, 685, 951, 863, these are the last 4 receiving leaders the Bears have had. Oh yeah everyone is in love with Martz showing up, last year he was unemployed, the year before he was the 49ers OC, the two years before that the Lions OC. Umm they never had a WR do ANYTHING while he was in the same job he is now. If you have him, try to trade him, if everyone else in your league is smart enough not to want him, just waive him, he has NO chance of being a fantasy contributor.

If people are drafting knox to be anything other than a borderline wr3, then they are expecting too much.

        at detroit in his 1st year he got roy e. williams to get 82 receptions for 1310 yards and 7tds, and mike friggin furrey had 98 receptions for 1086 yards and 6 tds with JOHN KITNA at qb. so decent stats are very possible.

        Yeah Rams were great, but let's see, Faulk, 3rd overall pick, Bruce and Holt were both high 1st rounders. Not really the same talent base as the Bears offense. And he had a QB who could stand in the pocket and rocket the ball out with quick decisions going down field. Chicago has a QB who likes to scramble, and make things happen. Not really a pocket guy. They also play outside in Chicago, also not a great place to be throwing the ball deep. Lets see he has had 4 jobs, OC of Rams, they did great. HC of Rams, they were terrible, OC of the Lions, they were terrible, OC of the 49ers, they were terrible. One out of 4 is not a great rate to think the guy has any ability as a football mind.

Now I have known some football players personally who basically said they just play for the money. Maybe once Roy got it he gave up trying. That guy really does make me scratch my head.

      Ok retard. Knox has only had 3 receptions...cuz it's preseason dumbass and smart coaches sit their starters at least after halftime. Knox is the best WR they have and Cutler will be much better this year now since he has a year under his belt in Chicago and used to everything. Not only that but now Martz has a Solid good QB who can play well that he can work with. Look at what Knox did last year, yes he only had 45 receptions in 15 games but for not starting he put 527 yards and 5 TD's. But where he is very valuable is he had 32 Kick Returns he racked up 927 yards. He is very talented and is only in his 2nd year. Don't jump on a guy cuz he slumped off the end of the year in his "ROOKIE" year. Not every rookie plays their ass off their rookie year, it takes a few years or sometimes just one for the guy to breakout. If you are going to bitcha and moan about a guy not doing well their rookie year then bitch about Greene or all the other rookies last year who didn't play well or up to their potential. Also for all the rookies who are overrated this year Like Mathews, so many people hype him up, he is a rookie who is unproven, we have no idea how he is going to perform. You just sound like a pissed off owner who either got screwed by Knox last year or wanted him this year and couldn't get him.

Size and where he was drafted is all you have. Yeah he wasn't a superstar his rookie year. Yeah well neither was the 1st rounder Michael Crabtree but I guess he sucks too?       You listed Austin down there as a top WR. He was good his first year. Its all about development and opportunity. Teams are willing to take risks on WRs that have great physical abilities but arent polished. Thats why it takes them two or three years to breakout

      Ok, how about 2 interceptions this preseason due to Knox running the wrong routes. The WR coach saying Hester and Aroma are the two starters. The Chicago Trib blasting Knox all preseason for dropped passes. Those kind of things.
