    1st year keeper league - pick 6

    PPR league

WE HAVE NOW FINISHED THE FIRST YEAR OF A 5 YEAR KEEPER LEAGUE

    Starters:
    2 QB
    2 WR
    2 RB
    1 TE
    2 W/R/T

    my options:

    QB Brees
    QB McNabb
    WR A Johnson
    WR V Jackson
    WR G Jennings
    RB R Rice
    RB S Jackson
    RB P Thomas
    TE Celek
    TE J Finley

    Leaning towards:

    Brees
    McNabb
    A Johnson
    V Jackson
    R Rice
    S Jackson

BUT I AM HAVING A HARD TIME CUTTING THE OTHERS LOOSE:

Jennings came on at the end of the year and his numbers weren't that much worse than V Jax.

Finley was a beast from December on and I really don't want to let him get away - especially since this is a five year keeper league - he could be the best TE in the league in a year or so

Celek was the 5th best TE this year and a McNabb favorite - probably couldn't go too wrong keeping Celek and Finley since I can start them both, get good production and draft WR's that will probably produce at or close to Jennings level.

PT should have been the #1 in NO this year and cold easily be the man next year - also hard to part with (note - I like S Jax but if StL doesn't improve and he is only going to play 12-14 games and be an injury threat - I could easily not keep him)

Since we start 2 QB's and they are hard to come by, I feel compelled to hold onto McNabb and maybe even draft another QB in the 1st or 2nd just to shore up that position. RB's are next hardest to come by, so that is an argument to keep at least 2 RB's. I can't let A Johnson go, so I am basically down to one spot with 5 competing for it - V Jax, Jennings, Thomas, Finley, Celek.

I figure that most people will take RB and QB in rounds 1 and 2 - but I will pick 9th and 12th, then not until 29 and 32. If I take the best available RB and Qb in the first 2 rounds, will the TE's or WR's still be there?
