Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
I need to drop a wr for a rb which wr should I drop and which rb do i pick up?
These are my choices:
Brian Westbrook he might not play at all and if he does won't be back til the playoffs and I need someone now i'm leaning toward jones
they all suck i saw pig dropped sproles for t owens and i think he made the right choice he already has charles mendenhall and ricky williams and he has seven stud wr so i think the wr are better than the rb and he said he could start 4 of them
if sammy morris coms back in the next week...id go with him..yea they have maroney but morris is more productive when healthy and NE likes him more..hes a big part of their offense. and he will take maroneys time away when he comes back.
I would say Jones is done for the season, Donald Brown is supposed to be used in place of Addai when the colts clinch the playoff home field advantage, and sammy morris is still gonna be playing behind maroney. Did you try getting jamaal charles, justin forsett, rock cartwright, jason snelling?
As far as receivers go, smith is always gonna be good for around 7-8 pts, he really hasnt been a huge producer since the first couple of weeks, teams are treating him like a no. 1 receiver so he is running into a lot of double coverage. Not really sure about austin, seems more risky, but does tend to score touchdowns. So you risk limited yards some games and points if he doesnt keep scoring.
