Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
I'm drafting in a 12 team league tonight.....It's .5 ppr so I wanted to see how that changed the values of players. Here are some odd projections by Yahoo for the year.
Greg Olson - #3 TE
Heath Miller - #4 TE
Matt Forte - #1 RB
Michael Turner - #11 RB
Chris Johnson - #5 RB
Ray Rice - #21 RB
Ryan Grant - #23 RB
Calvin Johnson - #7 WR
TJ Houshmandzadeh - #18 WR
David Garrard - #9 QB
Phillip Rivers - #10 QB
Tony Romo - #14 QB
Obviously some of these are a little rediculous, but should kind of use the projections? Staying away from Rivers, Romo, Housh, Turner, Grant?

Im think Romo has always been overated. Rivers is a good QB but if Tomlinson stays healthy this year he could cut into the numbers of rivers. Turner is a questionmark. Some experts think the guy is a stud workhorse RB. Others think he was a product of the Falcons weak schedule last year. Also in PPR, Turner drops a couple spots because he's not a prolific pass catching RB.
Why would you stay away from Housh in PPR? If anything a guy like Housh should get a boost in PPR formats. He and Hasslebeck have had a great repertoire in the preseason. The only reason his numbers were down last year was because he had a terrible backup QB throwing to him.
