Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
Need to fill 1 last spot on my team to use as as a fill in for a flex spot. Starting roster RB to WR ratio is 2WR, 2RB and a flex spot.
RB:Adrian Peterson, Chris Johnson, Willie Parker, Knowshon Moreno, Cedric Benson
WR:Roddy White, Calvin Johnson, TJ Houshmandzadeh, Lance Moore, Chris Chambers.
Here's the list of potential players for last roster spot I'm considering. Who would you take? I included my concerns on each.
Kevin Walter, WR HOU (worried about Shaub)
Domenik Hixon, WR NYG (See smith below, gotta share looks)
Patrick Crayton, WR DAL (had him last year, up and down all year)
Ted Ginn Jr, WR MIA (its Miami...nuff said)
Steve Smith, WR NYG (has to share a lot of looks)
Michael Jenkins, WR ATL (already hate White)
Donnie Avery, WR STL (top guy on a bad team)
Go with Avery of Ginn Jr. Avery was the second behind Jackson in fantasy point for rookie WR last year and with Holt gone he'll be Bulgers #1 target. Tony Sparano said he's going to be using Ginn Jr. in a big way this year.
I would take Avery off the list but you have a solid stable so I would probably take a shot on a rookie or a second option on improved offences that might blow up this year. Look for earl bennet (chi) chris henry (cin) donald brown (ind) who have all had good preseasons

Henry and Brown were both claimed in our draft. Some nut claimed Henry in like the 8th round with plenty of better options on the board still. I think I'll take a shot with Avery. It's 1 point per catch in our league plus yardage and TD's so I figured he'd be a good bet. He'll see plenty of throws his way at ST. L With the rest of my team I'll mostly just use him in match up games.
