Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
12 team, standard rosters/scoring
We ended up having 9 show up. Only 3 for the first round though. Some of my "sleeper" picks went too early for me to get. I would have loved to have them, but didn't want to pay a steep price.
QB - Jay Cutler
WR - Calvin Johnson
WR - TJ Houshmandzedeh
WR - Donald Driver
RB - DeAngelo Williams
RB - Ryan Grant
TE - Tony Gonzalez
K - Garret Hartley
DEF - Seattle
QB - Matt Hasselbeck
RB - Marshawn Lynch
RB - Darren McFadden
WR - Chris Chambers
WR - Earl Bennett
WR - Chris Henry
I have weaknesses, I know. I need a better starting QB. I need a better DEF. For some reason, most guys got 2 DEFs, so I'm assuming they will drop one of them then I can scoop them up.....There is a guy with Moss, Boldin, Fitzgerald as his starting WRs so I might be able to trade a RB for a WR.
I think I'm going to have an extremely hard time trading in this league. Most of the guys are baseball guys......Meaning I can't get equal value, or even steal, trades......I was offered TO for DeAngelo and Walter for Grant, just some examples.
It's definitely not weak, especially in a 12 team league. McFadden is going to have a big year, grant is healthy and should have a good year, and I like Henry and Bennett as wr sleepers this year. You could try trading lynch and driver for another wr. And yes, those guys will be dropping their def so be ready to pick one up.
