Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
Should I trade Ray Rice for Anthony Gonzalez? This is my team:
a better trade would be bryant for gonzalez. bryant is not going to repeat from last season, especially with leftwich at qb.
Answering the original question, do not trade Rice! He is set to have a very good season, even if he is in a timeshare.
hmmm.... Rice for Gonzoles
There's 1 problem there
Rice has no respect. In most of my drafts he goes undrafted or is a late round flyer
Gonzo on the other hand is a respected low end WR2 or a high end WR3.
I cant imagine anyone jumping on that trade

You think so? I love Beanie Wells and Ahmad Bradshaw because they both have upside but are they solid enough to be bye week fill-ins? I love them as my RB4/RB5 but I don't know if either deserve to be a RB3 at this point.

Anthony Gonzalez = WR for Indy, not TONY Gonzalez the TE. I think Gonzalez is an improvement over Antonio Bryant, but you already have 2 solid WR and Ray Rice might be a larger gain over Smith than Gonzalez over Bryant. If you believe in Rice's preseason performances, then hold on to him, otherwise - sell high.
