has any tried this draft method?
WR in the first two rounds and it really worked?
-
I have experimented with it and found the following:
In a 10 team league
If you pick 1-5/6 position its best to take a RB first
If you pick 6-10 then go with WR's but only if its from these 8
Fitz
A Johnson
C Johnson
R Moss
Bolden
S Smith
R Wayne
G Jennings
If they are all gone then go RB -
In my ppr league I'm planning on going wr-wr with my first 2 picks. Last year I went rb-rb-rb with my first 3 picks. Hated my draft, but I did end up winning the league.

If the best players available at your draft position just so happen to be WRs than take them, but if not just go with the best available players.

I agree with last post, go best available at least until offensive starters are filled. Then I go for who I like to breakout that year. Also I never draft a kicker and only a defense if I score a top 5 DEF late like in round 10+. I would rather roster a potential skill player at least through training camp if not preseason. In 3 years of playing, I'm at a winning percentage of 74%, so I believe it works.

I tried that draft strategy and ended up with a very nice team. At least in my opinion. Give it a try. Good luck.

thanks. so far it has turned out pretty good. the depth at rb is pretty deep and so far in mocks i've ended up with grant and brown at rb and andre and greg at wr and addai and thomas jones along with moss and greg.
