Garbage Trade?

so im the commish of a league, and a guy had two trades that are currently pending and im not at all excited about them. i need feedback from the general (un-bias) public. please look at the two trades and tell me of you'd veto both, one, or neither.

  trade 2 could work if you are trading for a marquee name hoping he will recapture his magic. Also depends if it's a keeper league.
