Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
I want to stock up on a RB.
Not sure about this Cobbs-guy (MIA) but he looks "promising". And no other good options (FA's) available.
This is my team:
QB: B. Roethlisberger / M. Schaub
WR: R. Moss, L. Evans, B. Berrian, M. Muhammad, K. Walter (Hou), P. Burress
RB: J. Lewis, R. Grant (GB), E. James
TE: V. Davis (SF)
K: R. Longwell / K. Brown
Who should I drop/trade?
Also was thinking about dropping Chicago DEF and grab IND DEF...
Ideas/suggestions/advice is welcome.
Thank you :-)
How many teams are in your league. Your team looks pretty rough in every position. Your WRs are ok, but I'm hoping this is at least a 14 team league or else you shouldn't have any chance without some miracles. Who did you draft 2nd after you picked Moss? I guess you went Moss, Grant, Plax, and Lewis?
I wouldn't pick him up based on one game, especially since he had no rushing yard. Maybe Miami will continue to throw to him, but one of his long TDs was on a double reverse pass and he was wide open. That won't work again.
Cobbs is nothing. The only good game he has probably had in his career. He is buried behind Ronnie and Ricky. I wouldn't look to him for much for the rest of the season.
I would also keep Chicago's D, usually pretty solid every week. Indy is last in the NFL against the run. Not a good move, they had one good week. If you want to pick someone up, drop one of your kickers. You never need to keep 2. You can always pick one up on a bye.
