Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
Team A gets Chester Taylor and Hines Ward
Team B gets Jason Witten and Patrick Crayton
OR C. Taylor for J. Witten straight up.
Standard yahoo scoring. QB, WR WR WR RB RB TE K DEF
Team A already has AP and wants CT to handcuff. Not very deep at RB with AP/MJD and only Felix Jones on the bench. Team A has Owen Daniels on the bench.
Team B wants to upgrade at TE with Scheffler. Can afford to deal CT with S. Jax, E. Graham, S. Young, D. McAllistar as backs. Fairly deep at WR, feels he can lose Ward with Andre Johnson, Plax, S. Smith starters and A. Gonzales on bench (with Crayton if deal goes through).
Fair trade? Who wins? Is CT for Witten a fair swap?

KATN---If the trade can go with Taylor for Witten straight up then go that way. I never like the idea of having multiple players for the same team on my team but I dont see Taylor doin much this season and I the Pitts is startin to make the transition from Ward to Holmes. I see Holmes havin a more productive season then Ward. Team B wins in the trade.
I'm in an 8 team, no PPR, standard scoring H2H league and had the 3rd overall pick. I was hoping for some feedback on my draft. In parentheses is the round in which the player was drafted. I know I lack an elite receiver, but I think my WR as a group is pretty solid and should be able to put up decent numbers.

Ray--I agree with your assesment of your WR. Good solid group. I really dont have much to tell you. You have a good solid group and a good bench as well. Im not sold on Holt. the Rams were horrible last season and they did nothing to improve that in the offseason. I would start Lee Evans over him.

reedt--- I dont know. Turner was a good RB when he got his turn in San Diego but I dont like Atlanta's O-line. Every player that has played thier has not looked good in the last couple of years. Denver is in a mist of rebuilding and might not competing this year. Turner is the best bet and he is the best trade bet too. If it were me.....I take Turner and start him.

I like it. Watch Burress. He sat out much of the preseason with this stupid holdout and might be alittle rusty in the beginning. I see NYG havin to beat people with their offense rather then thier D. Burress can have a breakout year or the NYG could just fold on themselves. Its a risky move but the potential is better then the bad.
