Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
All right, boards, I have an interesting dilemma at hand and I'd like some help with it.
Here's my current roster in a 14 team league. Lineup is QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, WR, TE, K, DEF:
QB - Brees
RB - LT, SJax
WR - Calvin Johnson, Reggie Brown, Isaac Bruce
TE - Dallas Clark
K - Gostowski
DEF - San Diego
BN - Houston
BN - Antwaan Randle El
BN - Devin Hester
BN - Tim Hightower
Now, as you can see, I am pretty weak at WR while wonderfully awesome at RB. I was thinking of trading S. Jackson in order to improve my WR lineup, but I'm just not very sure how to replace SJax (14 team league, no real RB's left) unless I trade for an RB.
Here's a few of the trades I've come up with so far after looking at teams that could use an RB of SJax's caliber, and I'd like some feedback as to what you think of these:
A) One owner has M. Colston, R. Wayne, K. Smith, S. Young. I was thinking some combination of WR + RB here, or if I can somehow find a better RB than Hightower, trade for both Colston and Wayne (is this asking too much?)
B) One owner has T.O., Welker, Lynch, LenDale White, and Fred Taylor. Possibly T.O. + Taylor for SJax?
C) One owner has T.J. Housh, A. Johnson, R. Bush, and J. Stewart. I'm thinking Housh + Bush here for SJax.
D) One owner has B. Edwards, Plax, F. Gore, and T. Jones. Here I'd like Edwards and Jones for SJax.
Thanks for the full read - also, let me know if I have too high of a value for SJax. I'd really like to know what I can get for him, or at least, figure out what he's worth so I know how to barter.
I'll be checking this all night, so replies are hopefully start a good conversation.
Dont Trade Him.......
how many teams would kill to have your RB's.....I would
i wouldnt give him away for less than a 2nd round rb and a 3rd rd WR
you will be able to pick up a sleeper Wr on waivers a few weeks into the season
Just my 2 cents

Yeah, I'm extremely satisfied with my RB's. I was lucky and another owner needed a quarterback AND a running back really desperately, and I cut him a three-player deal for SJax with no major harm to my starters.
You really think a decent WR will show up on Waivers? Mind you, I'm 14th (dead last) on the waiver wire due to drafting first.
i would do Lynch and Welker above all other trades as another owner suggested. Lynch will be a stud this year and Welker is a clear upgrade at wr. The Housh and Bush trade is a terrible trade for u and i would never do that. Bush is extremely overrated and has yet to even break 800 yards in a season and a respectable amount of TDs. Housh is very good, but there are still a good # of wrs i woud choose over him, and with u trading jackson u can pick and choose. Wayne and Colston would be an even better trade, but i doubt that would happen.
I wouldn't trade Jackson in any of those trades other than the 2 i mentioned.
Bump to the top.
So far I think the best option is to just wait and see who I can pick up from FA, but it's barely edging out the option to start negotiations to try and snag T.O./Welker + Lynch for SJax.
Opinions, night-time board?
