Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
I got offered Randy Moss for my Willie Parker..sounds like a no brainer right? not so fast..here is my team for a 14 team keeper league, keep 4 per year.
this league counts receptions as 1 point, so WR value goes way up, this being why i am not gonna play a 3rd RB at the W/R position
The question is if I take this trade, could I then take and trade some of my WRs to get a better RB than Willie Parker..and if so who should I trade and what guys do I target?

He was the sleeper to get the starting RB job in Denver with Selvin having thigh problems, but he broke a bone in his elbow an is out 6 weeks so that won't be happening now.
I also have a deal on the table where I get Kevin Smith(det RB), Santonio Holmes, Chris Cooley for Zach Miller and Braylon..this was offered to me as well
I could flip Moss for Maroney I'm almost positive because the guy is trying to move him, I could probably deal Plax for him
Other teams with 3 RB that could move one have guys like Portis, McGahee, Addai, Turner, Larry Johnson, Ryan Grant
Are any of these guys worth going after if i made the deal?

But if all he's trading is Parker for Moss and then Moss for Gore (or someone similar quality) then he can still upgrade the RB position with one of those bench WRs as well. This question basically ends with trading Parker for someone along the lines of Gore and that's a no brainer.
you should make the trade for moss. Then you can trade plax or jennings and get you a good rb. Or even if you get moss you can then flip him for an addai or a top rb especially if you get more points for WR's and you still have 4 good wr's left.
I absolutely take it. Especially in a WR heavy league, Moss is way more valuable than Parker. Parker will likely get out to the fast start, get injured and/or just start losing carries to Mendenhall. The only reason Parker has kept that job as long as he has is because of who was behind him. Now that there's a legit RB behind him, Parker loses a lot of value and is going downhill fast. Take Moss and run with him. If you feel the need, flip him for a Gore or Barber or something but get rid of Parker, get Moss or someone better. Easy choice.
