Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
I was the beneficiary of playing against someone in the final who defeated a Brady-led in the Semi-Final.....Fortunately I did not have to play the Brady team in the last week or I would have lost, however I am the Champion of my league without ever having been the highest scoring team in any of the playoff weeks.
How many of you won the Championship because Brady had that semi-final off week (eventhough you would have lost to that same team in the finals if your scores were compared in the final week)..

I am also one to win my league and that improbable win over the dominating team that included Tom Brady, Randy Moss, Wes Welker and Plaxico Burress..all that stunk it up in the semifinals!
Of course I had my share of problems that week too as McGahee left the game injured and left me 1 point and Anthony Gonzales did absolutely nothing! Thanks to Anquan Boldin and Fred Taylor I won by about 5 points.
I eliminated the Team with Brady. I got also Romo. Both Romo and Brady did nothing on weak 15 (1st playoff round) but beat him with LT, Colston, Stecker and NE def and MJD. I have Warner sitting on the bench since week 11 and play him on Championship. My team won the Championship against the team with Brees, R. Moss. T.O.. M. Lynch, Graham, AP (chi) T. Gonzo, Jag Def. I beat him by 12 points.
I won in both of my leagues and beat the Brady led teams in both Championships because that off week was due to the weather. It was faching ggggreeaaatttt. That's the breaks of fantasy football sometimes.
Almost everyone who had Brady lost week 15 semis. Only 1/4 Brady teams survived in my leagues to take it all. He was not the best fantasy QB this year for that reason, despite having the best numbers. If you had Drew Brees to insert for playoffs of all people, you were in business.
