    Too many backs

Here is my situation. I have LaDainian Tomlinson, Larry Johnson, Frank Gore, LaMont Jordan, and Brandon Jacobs on my team right now. I obviously don't need any more backs but Stephen Jackson and Laurence Maroney are currently available on the waivers. So does anybody have any advice on what I should do because I am trying to also play a little defense by picking up the extra backs so nobody else can use them to score.

    • If your league is head to head, you've got too many backs as it is, you should be concentrating on shoring up any weaknesses that your team my have so that you put a team on the field that gives you the best chance to win each week.

    • If your leaguemate(s) let you stockpile that backfield, I wouldn't worry about playing defense. Maybe see if Randy Moss is on waivers and sure up your hands team. How do you have three first round backs on one team and two more on waivers? Are you in a two person league?

    • stop playing in 2 player leagues or tell your league to wake up and play against you. How are maroney and sjax on waivers?also how did you get LT and LJ. those are both #1 round picks? Your league stinks man

      • Actually it's an 8 team league so the free agent pool isn't quite empty you can find bargains but not normally like the Jackson and Maroney thing. Although the LJ free agent move was just ignorant. I couldn't wait to jump on that

      • I started out with LT Ronnie Brown as my starters. Larry Johnson became available a few days before his monster game this week. The Stephen Jackson thing came about because his owner started needing some points and can't wait for his injury to heal (still I would have kept him). And the Maroney thing didn't really shock me too much since Yahoo Sports and ESPN both were talking about Sammy Morris being the guy the Patriots go to around the goal line since about week one or two
