Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
A trade was proposed to me where I get:
RB Shaun Alexander
TE Tony Gonzalez
and I give:
RB Frank Gore
WR Lee Evans
Gore and Evans are both great players, but have completely underperformed this year, and I'm not too sure they'll be that productive going forward this year.
Now Alexander hasn't prodcued much either, and both him and Gonzalez are injury risks due to their age and history. So I'm leaning towards rejecting this trade.
What do you guys think??
Reject it, You might get good numbers from Tony Gonzalez but not from shaun alexander. In my book he is done. his full back (mack strong) retired and his o-line in seattle is pretty depleted Dont do it...WIth Alex SMith out in SF they are going to rely on the run...Gore will break through give him time

Seatle has got an easy road as well vs the rams, Browns etc.
Thier basically equal.
At least Seatle has a passing game.
SF got crap for passing.
Tony Gonzalez has gotten great points in the last 3-4 weeks.
You tell me what Evans has done on a weekly basis?
Gonzalez is one of the best TE's in the league.
He has proven that & vs Oakland.
Hard to get TE's.
Lee Evans has not produced much at all.
I would take Gon over Evans in a heart beat.
It does depend on who your TE is though.
If you are playing in a league with only one slot for a TE then that could be different.
Gon will get you points.
I would not take the trade if you got TE's who get you good points.
