It was reported this week that Jamal Lewis may not play this weekend. Lewis has not practice yet this week and was seen wearing a protective boot to support his injured foot. Jason Wright looks like a great start against a struggling Miami run defense. He entered the game against New England after Lewis left and had a decent game facing the strong NE defense. Look for news on Lewis later this week and into the weekend, but do not count on him to start this week.

I picked up Wright too (especially against the Fins this week)....he runs hard and catches alot of balls out of the backfield (Plus my stud RB's have byes this week). Last I heard, Jamal's foot was in a boot yesterday & today. The way I see it, he has a "tippy-toe" running style which isnt very good with a foot injury. I'm thinkin' they might list him as out or doubtful as early as tomorrow.

yeah i picked up Wright early this week..last i heard about Lewis was that he didnt practice weds..so that can either mean its not looking good..or hes ready..just lightening the load..we shall hear more by friday, saturday i take it..or it could just be a last second gamble..

although im sure, even if lewis does play..wright will get carries

NFL Network's Rich Eisen said on Wednesday's edition of Total Access that Jamal Lewis (foot) is unlikely to play in Week 6. Eisen doesn't normally break news, but his doesn't come as a surprise, as the Browns rarely hold players completely out of Wednesday practices, then use them on Sundays. Lewis was in a protective boot during the workout, and Jason Wright looks likely to start against the Dolphins.
