Roto Arcade - Fantasy

Friday is the key practice day in the NFL, so let's take a good look around.

http://a323.yahoofs.com/ymg/ept_sports_fantasy_experts__8/ept_sports_fantasy_experts-335732740-1228525032.jpg?ymNKWrADTEZuvfiC Marion Barber (toe) missed his third consecutive day and is a game-time decision for Sunday's showdown at Heinz Field. Tashard Choice is the fallback option. The Cowboys are fully expected to have DeMarcus Ware (knee), however.

Clinton Portis (various) did some work at the Friday practice but remains questionable for Sunday night's trip to Baltimore. "I saw Clinton out there running, so I expect him to play," Jim Zorn told the Associated Press. Given the opponent and the laundry list of physical issues Portis is dealing with, I'd strongly consider other options.

Brian Westbrook (knee, ankle) didn't work the last two days and is questionable for the Giants on Sunday. At least it's an early start, and context clues point to him being on the field. Correll Buckhalter (knee) is far less likely to play.

Joseph Addai (knee) was limited in Friday's practice and the Colts held Anthony Gonzalez (shoulder) out completely. Both are listed as questionable, which has turned into the default setting for Tony Dungy over the years. At least it's an early start Sunday, so fantasy owners will get the necessary info in time to make the right decision.

Reggie Bush (knee) was held out of the Friday work but is still considered probable for Sunday's critical game with Atlanta.

Steven Jackson (quad) had a full day and looks good for Sunday's trip to Arizona.

Matt Hasselbeck (back) didn't work Friday and looks unlikely to play against the Patriots. Good news for the Seneca Wallace fan club, bad news for the fantasy public.

Ryan Grant (thumb) had a strong week and is expected to play his regular amount against the Texas. Brandon Jackson (quad) is also listed as probable.

Marshawn Lynch (back) put in a full day and is probable for Miami. He'll take his handoffs from J.P. Losman, who's been confirmed to start in place of Trent Edwards (groin).

Willie Parker (knee) took full reps and should start against the Cowboys.

Matt Schaub (knee) did all the work Friday and will start at Green Bay.

Kevin Smith (ankle) is probable for the Vikings, but good luck getting around or through the reinstated Williams Wall.

Laveranues Coles (thigh) missed work this week and is questionable, but he's been playing through this issue for a while and should do the same at San Francisco.

T.J. Houshmandzadeh (back) put in a full session and is fully expected to start at Indy.

Anquan Boldin (back) is listed as probable, but there's no way you don't start him against St. Louis.

Willis McGahee (illness) is considered probable for Sunday night. Roll with the Baltimore backfield at your own risk.

Derrick Mason (shoulder) is questionable for Sunday night's game with Washington. Recent history suggests he'll go, but there's a modest upside here.

Roy Williams (foot) missed Friday's session, though he's still considered probable for the Pittsburgh game.

Deuce McAllister is eligible to play against Atlanta after his suspension got postponed, but there's no guarantee he'll be in the game plan on Sunday.

Donnie Avery (hip) had a good week and is probable for the Cardinals.

Selvin Young (groin) did everything asked but I can't see how he'll steal a lot of touches from Peyton Hillis.

Mark Bradley (calf) won't play in Week 14, and he's reminding us of the tease player he was in Chicago (flashes of production mixed with injury problems).

Josh Morgan (groin) and Arnaz Battle (foot) both practiced Friday but you're in the playoffs, you can do better.

I wonder if NO's will give Deuce extra carries as this could be his last game for them.

Hey Scott, hope I can get your opinion for my second RB this week to start opposite Adrian Peterson. I have Chris Johnson and Peyton Hillis. They both are at home against terrible rushing D's. I am leaning towards Hillis considering he gets all the touches(Tatum Bell had zero last week), and I am worried that if and when Ten gets down inside the 5 yard line Lendale White will take away TD's from johnson. I'd be interested in your thoughts. If any other readers care to chime in I would appreciate that as well. Thank you.---Dave in Milwaukee

I know Public Leagues don't roll with any IDP's, but what's the status on Cortland Finnegan? His absence would give Braylon Edwards a bit higher ceiling for what it's worth.

I need to pick 2 of these 3 wideouts to start (already have Fitz). All opinions appreciated and will receive $100 in virtual money (you can purchase virtual Christmas presents with it, trust me I bought my kids a virtual Hummer last year with the stuff.)
    Owens vs Pitt
    Royal vs KC
    Bowe vs Den
First one to post the correct 2 will receive $1000 in virtual money and half my kingdom. (Those who post "first" as their only comment will receive a virtual kick in the pants.)

I've already got Boldin and Jennings in. I need to decide between Coles at SF of Antonio Bryant against Carolina. I also have Indy defense against Cinci or Baltimore against Washington. Any suggestions are appreciated.

I'd go with Coles and Indy. La-La-Laverneous has a much higher ceiling than Bryant. And Indy is playing Cinci. Cinci is lost on offense.

I'm the lone female in my league and have made the playoffs for the last 3 years. I've placed second the past 2 years, but my team is hurting. Which 2 RB's would you play between L. White(Tenn), B. Westbrook, and Michael Turner? I'm completely lost in the WR department. My roster includes Torry Holt, Hines Ward, Heath Miller, Bryant Johnson, and Josh Reed. What 3 would you start? Devin Hester is still on the waiver wire. Would you pick him up? Thanks for any help!

Id go with gordorak. He is the only reason their team is doing anything now adays. I project at least 5,000 rushing yards and 1 rec for 6700 yards. Youd be crazy not to start him against that porous d.
If I am wrong, may you breach my household and eat my invisble kids for breakfast.
