Coyotes return G Hill to minors

Goalie Adin Hill, called up by the Arizona Coyotes on Friday after goalie Antti Raanta was involved in a car accident, was optioned back to AHL Tucson on Sunday.

Raanta has rejoined the team, but Scott Wedgewood started for the Coyotes on Thursday in a 4-1 loss to the Dallas Stars and again Saturday in a 6-0 road defeat against the Los Angeles Kings.

Hill, 21, has played three career NHL games, all for Arizona in October. He lost twice to the Stars and once to the New York Rangers, producing a 3.76 goals-against average and an .880 save percentage.

For in 20 games Tucson this season, Hill is 9-10-1 with two shutouts, a 2.59 GAA and a .905 save percentage.
