UFC veteran Nate Diaz is in the process of applying for a professional boxing license in Nevada. The Nevada State Athletic Commission has confirmed to ESPN.com that it has been in contact with Diaz's representatives for several weeks and that Diaz is currently in the process of filing the necessary paperwork. In anticipation of filing for a boxing license, Diaz has paid the $50,000 fine the NSAC handed him last month.
The first super-fight of 2017 certainly lived up to its billing on Saturday night (14 January) as James DeGale and Badou Jack fought out an electrifying draw in New York.
