Bernard Hopkins has always been real and he's not about to schill for a fighter just because he stands to profit from a win. Sure Hopkins, part of the Golden Boy Promotions crew, would love to see Hatton win. Bigger fights for Hatton down the road means more money for Hopkins. And we all know Hopkins likes his money. When Hopkins sat down with ESPNRadio1100 in Las Vegas to break down the fight he picked Pacquiao to win without hesitation.

"Hatton has a chance if Pacquiao goes in there thinking it's going to be given to him," said Hopkins. "But a bettin' man who's not a promoter will go with Pacquiao based on pound for pound."

The 44-year-old veteran said Hatton's biggest hope is if Pacquiao has changed his mentality and lost of his fire because of his newfound riches:

"If he can fight like he's poor. Like he's living in a box in the Philippines then Hatton has a rough night coming to him," said Hopkins. "But if somehow, the silk underwear has changed Manny's mentality. And the L.A. lifestyle, changes his mentality. It sneaks up on us when we don't even know it. It's hard to fight when you got that money in the bank the way you fought when you didn't have a dime."

Hopkins (49-5, 32 KOs) hasn't fought since his rousing victory over Kelly Pavlik back in October. He says fights against Dawson or cruiserweight champ Tomcz Adamek won't happen if those fighters are looking for 50-50 splts on money. Hopkins says it doesn't pay for him to split the money with guys when he's taking all the risk and has to be the face of the promotion.
