Vin Scully gives play-by-play for young dancing Dodgers fan

When the Los Angeles Dodgers announced Vin Scully would return for his 66th season last week, the legendary broadcaster received a long ovation from the Dodger Stadium crowd. The iconic announcer is as beloved as there is in all of sports. One could make the argument that when the 86-year-old lends his dulcet tones to any kind of action you're involved in, you've arrived. Such was the case for one young fan Sunday during SportsNet LA's telecast of the game against the Chicago Cubs. Scully described the spectator's slick dance moves on the fly.

"We've got something going here," Scully said, interrupting himself to deliver some impromptu play-by-play on the little guy. "More fun than the game right now. Yes sir. A star is born."

Usain Bolt was also in a fun mood at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow over the weekend. YouTube user dashb14 uploaded a video of the six-time Olympic champion getting down to The Proclaimers' classic "I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)" prior to the men's 4x100m relay Saturday night. Bolt anchored the event, which Jamaica won in a Games record time of 37.58.

Finally in tennis, Serena Williams rebounded from a bizarre scene at Wimbledon last month to win her third straight Bank of the West title at Stanford. The five-time U.S. Open champion (and winner of two straight at Flushing Meadows) has now won four times on the WTA Tour this season. The season's final grand slam gets underway in three weeks.
