Thunder teammates honor Russell Westbrook

Russell Westbrook is a 3-time NBA All-Star and an Olympic gold medalist. But the Oklahoma City Thunder point guard has also become a bit of a fashion icon. Recognized for his electric play on the court, Westbrook is just as famous for his unique attire off it. Members of the media are mesmerized by his postgame press conference apparel - where he often dons glasses with no lenses and print shirts that defy explanation.

But with the OKC guard out indefinitely due to a torn right meniscus, there's a style vacuum in the NBA playoffs. Thankfully, Thunder teammates Kevin Durant and Hasheem Thabeet helped fill that void Monday night. The pair arrived at the Toyota Center prior to Game 4 against Houston wearing shirts that TNT's Charles Barkley said reminded him of his mama's curtains. They were loud and something the injured Westbrook would surely be proud of.

As for the game against the Rockets, Thunder big man Serge Ibaka missed a potential tying putback layup at the buzzer and Houston beat Oklahoma City 105-103 to avoid a sweep.

In baseball, the Atlanta Braves beat the Washington Nationals 3-2. More concerning for the Nats though was the health of ace Stephen Strasburg. He has what manager Davey Johnson calls "forearm tightness" but says he won't miss his next start. Strasburg is 1-4 so far in 2013.

And it didn't take long for Tim Tebow to get a job offer after being released by the New York Jets. The 2007 Heisman Trophy winner has been hit up by the Legends Football League (that's the old Lingerie Football League) to be its national quarterbacks coach.
