The quirkiness of spring training has arrived with Duffman, bathrobes and Cousin Eddie

It’s March again and that means the good ‘ole crack of the bat, the pop of the glove, and clubhouse craziness from baseball’s biggest stars.

Check out these tweets from the Washington Nationals and St. Louis Cardinals featuring some of their top guys.

San Francisco’s Matt Duffy is hoping to make the Opening Day roster for the big club this year, after coming up for the postseason run with the eventual World Champs.

Duffy is pulling out the stops this Spring, unveiling a new decal on the end of his bat.

Yep, that’s Duffman from FOX’s The Simpsons, although, it’s unclear if the infielder will don a cape for the Giants.

The Milwaukee BrewersMatt Garza is also going big for spring training. He bought personalized bathrobes for his fellow starting pitchers that look pretty comfy. Locker room shenanigans are guaranteed.

We’re not sure if Joe Maddon will be relaxing in his robe, while staying in his RV this Spring. The Chicago Cubs’ skipper’s ride is called “Cousin Eddie” and has brand new decals from a famous scene in National Lampoon’s Christmas vacation. Maddon tweets:

Gotta love spring training.
