Spike Lee videobombs Reggie Miller

Yahoo Sports Minute

Spike Lee and Reggie Miller go way back. The award-winning filmmaker and Basketball Hall of Famer have engaged each other for nearly 20 years, trading barbs and gestures on the court. Of course, Lee's favorite team (the New York Knicks) and Miller's former team (the Indiana Pacers) battled in several memorable NBA playoff series in the 1990s. The most famous moment came during the 1995 postseason, when Miller scored 8 points in the final 18.7 seconds to help Indiana beat New York in Game 1 of the Eastern conference semifinals (the Pacers beat the Knicks 4-3 in that series only to lose to the Orlando Magic in seven games in the conference finals.) The duo added a chapter to their relationship Tuesday night at Madison Square Garden.

With Indiana and New York once again facing off in the 2013 conference semis, Miller was filing a report for NBA TV prior to Game 2. That's when Lee, donned in orange and blue team colors, walked behind Miller, videobombing his one-time nemesis. The moment was priceless. While Miller had no idea Lee was behind him, the Knicks superfan had an expression on his face that said, "I got you!" And Lee went home happy as the Knicks evened the series with a 105-79 victory.

A scary moment occurred during the second inning of a game between the Tampa Bay Rays and Toronto Blue Jays. Rays center fielder Desmond Jennings hit a line drive back up in the middle that hit Jays starter J.A. Happ in the head. Happ was taken off the field on a stretcher to a local hospital. Toronto manager John Gibbons reported after the game that the pitcher was alert and feeling better.

Finally, the San Jose Sharks made franchise history by beating the Vancouver Canucks 4-3 in overtime of Game 4 of the Western Conference quarterfinals. It's the first time the club has had a postseason sweep.
