Sleeping Yankees fan shown during game against Red Sox

The rivalry between the Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees has not only been the biggest in baseball over the years — it's been one of the biggest in all of sport. Spanning decades and featuring names like Bucky Dent, Aaron Boone and, of course, Babe Ruth, the pair of historic franchises have traded countless moments. Perhaps someone should have reminded this guy about that history:

Yes, one fan was caught by ESPN cameras snoozing during the fourth inning of Sunday night's game between the AL East rivals (which the Pinstripes won 3-2). Announcers Dan Shulman and John Kruk had a little fun at the napping fan's expense, wondering what his story was. "This is not the place you come to sleep," joked Kruk. "He probably won't have any neck problems tomorrow." Schulman later questioned whether or not he slept through Carlos Beltran's two-run home run in the third inning. Kruk responded, "You'd think it would be tough to but he seemed comfortable."

Not worth it

Moving to the NBA, Oklahoma City star Russell Westbrook nearly injured himself during OKC's 102-97 loss to the Indiana Pacers. Westbrook, who has had multiple knee surgeries over the last year-plus, went up to block a George Hill shot after the whistle had blown during the fourth quarter and landed awkwardly.

Elementary

Finally in golf, Bubba Watson won the Masters for the second time in three years. The 35-year-old lefty became just the 17th player in history to win the green jacket more than once.
