Pau Gasol has many interests outside of basketball. The Los Angeles Lakers big man has worked on an inspirational photography book and is very involved with UNICEF. But when it comes to basketball, the two-time NBA champion has had his share of ups and downs during the 2013-14 season. The 7-footer experienced both earlier this week in one of the more embarrassing moments of a forgettable season for the proud franchise.
While finishing a dunk during the first quarter of a game against the New Orleans Pelicans Tuesday night, Gasol's hands slipped off the rim and he fell to the ground. Longtime team broadcaster Stu Lantz called the move a feeble attempt. Ouch.
Meanwhile, one young New York Knicks fan may as well have been in attendance at Staples Center watching Gasol's dunk fail. But sadly for the little fella, he was at The Palace of Auburn Hills Monday instead — where one disgusted reaction said it all.
Finally, it's nice to see New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick is staying in shape this offseason. The Hoodie's girlfriend, Linda Holliday, posted a photo of herself and Belichick working out:
