Miguel Cabrera home run assist

The tweet from MLB said it best:

Miguel Cabrera might just remember the 334th home run of his career for a long time. The Detroit Tigers star - and best hitter on the planet - said, "It was a lucky home run. I was surprised. That's never happened to me." Why the reaction? Perhaps because two-time Gold Glove Award winner Michael Bourn let the ball bounce off his glove and over the Progressive Field wall in right-center field for Cabrera's fifth long ball in the last three games and his 13th of the season. The inadvertent assist aided the Tigers to an 11-7 win over the Indians.

The Miami Heat got an inadvertent assist from Indiana Pacers head coach Frank Vogel in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals. After Vogel substituted out franchise center Roy Hibbert not once but twice in the final seconds of overtime, LeBron James converted the game-winning layup as time expired. The defending champs beat Indiana 103-102. James finished with 30 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists for his ninth career triple-double.

And San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Michael Crabtree had successful surgery to repair his torn right Achilles tendon. The team expects Colin Kaepernick's favorite target back at some point during the 2013 season.
