Lonnie Chisenhall has career night that includes 3 HR and 9 RBI

Yahoo Sports Minute

When the Cleveland Indians broke spring training camp just over two months ago, Lonnie Chisenhall was nothing more than a role player looking to contribute any way possible. But after the 25-year-old's historic display at the plate Monday night against the Texas Rangers, Chisenhall is the talk of baseball. That's because Chisenhall became just the fourth player since 1920 (when RBIs became a statistic) to have at least five hits, three homers and nine runs driven in in a game. But he's the first to do it going a perfect a 5-for-5.

The feat made him the top trending topic on Twitter, where MLB.com reporter Jordan Bastian noted the significance of Chisenhall's efforts.

Oh by the way, the Tribe won 17-7.

The Quick and the nearly dead

Moving to Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final, the Los Angeles Kings are one victory away from the franchise's second title in three years after a 3-0 shutout of the New York Rangers. Kings goalie Jonathan Quick had 32 saves in the whitewashing.

Reunited in the Big Apple

Finally in NBA news, Derek Fisher has agreed to a 5-year, $25 million deal to join one-time mentor Phil Jackson and become the next head coach of the New York Knicks.
